Zac Efron Is About to Play a Serial Killer
Hollywood’s #1 brother Zac Efron is going to play an a great deal more vile part on screen. The performing artist has recently marked on to play one of the world’s most intolerable serial executioners, Ted Bundy, in Extremely Wicked, Shocking Evil and Vile, The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline are announcing.
The venture is to be coordinated by Joe Berlinger, with Michael Werwie behind the script. As indicated by The Hollywood Reporter, the film is “told through the viewpoint of Elizabeth Kloepfer, Bundy’s long-term sweetheart who went years denying the allegations against Bundy, at the end of the day handed him over to the police. Just nearing his execution, when Bundy started discussing his broad and shocking homicides, did Kloepfer, and whatever remains of the world, take in the genuine extent of his various and grizzly killings.”
Efron was tapped to play Bundy mostly in light of the fact that “he can play both the profundity and the appeal that this person had in equivalent measures, and which enabled him to control these ladies in such an alarming route,” one of the film’s makers, Nicolas Chartier, told Deadline. “We think in the vein of Nightcrawler or even The Jinx, we are making a mental thriller that will reverberate profoundly with gatherings of people.” Chilling.
Recording is set to begin this October.
